Across Africa’s most influential billionaire dynasties, a new generation of women is stepping into major business roles. While Aliko Dangote has placed his three daughters in executive positions to help run his industrial empire, Johann Rupert’s daughters are building their own influence through luxury and tech investments.

Meanwhile, luxury goods tycoon Johann Rupert ranks as Africa’s third-richest individual with a net worth of $18 billion (148th globally), trailing closely behind Nathan Kirsh, whose fortune recently surged to $19.5 billion.
