The Bible talks about different crowns reserved for Christians when they arrive in Heaven. God, the righteous judge, awards these crowns to believers according to their works, and as He deems fit.

These crowns are described mostly in the New Testament of the Bible. The qualifications needed to obtain them are also mentioned in the Scriptures.

Let us take a look at these heavenly crowns:

THE IMPERISHABLE CROWN
1 Corinthians 9:24-25
24 ”Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
25 And everyone by who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.“
-The imperishable crown is reserved for Christians who run their race uprightly with discipline, perseverance and self-control. The winners are noted for subjecting the desires of their flesh to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Is my flesh or your flesh under the control of the Holy Spirit? Run to win the race! Run with perseverance and self-discipline.

THE CROWN OF LIFE
Revelation 2:10 NKJV
”Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer…Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.“
James 1:12 NKJV
”Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.“
-The crown of life is reserved for those who love God and are faithful in their Christian walk, no matter the circumstances.
We need God’s power to enable us endure temptations and be guided by God’s word in our daily walk. Help us Lord to obey Your commands daily in Jesus’ name.

THE CROWN OF REJOICING
1 Thessalonians‬ ‭2‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
”For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?“
-The crown of rejoicing is for soul winners. Paul refers to the Christians who came to Christ as a result of his evangelistic work, as his “crown of joy or rejoicing.”
Are you a soul winner?
Start winning souls for God’s kingdom today. Invite someone to your church. Preach the gospel to un-believers.

THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
”Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.“
-The crown of righteousness is for all Christians who walk uprightly with God and long for the appearing of Jesus Christ the second time.
It is the victor’s crown!
Are you right with God in your daily living?
Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ (rapture)? Please, prepare and be ready for rapture.

THE CROWN OF GLORY
‭‭1 Peter ‭5‬:‭4‬ ‭NIV‬‬
”And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.“
-The CROWN of glory is reserved and given to shepherds of God’s flocks (Pastors, Elders, overseers) who care sacrificially for the flocks. Such leaders are eager to serve and they lead the flocks by examples and with integrity.

Seek to obtain as many crowns as possible.
Have a splendid day in the Lord.
