Deji is a trained Project Management professional with a special bias for new product development, capacity development, and entrepreneurial re-engineering. He has commendable expertise in Business Operations, Business Process Management, B2B Sales Strategy, Business Analytics, Brand Management, New Product Development, Project Development and Management, stakeholder/institutional engagement, mediation, and management.
He worked in one of Nigeria’s biggest Insurance companies, Industrial and General Insurance (IGI) where he pioneered several investment portfolios outside the Insurance industry for the company. He co–founded Ada Solar Energy (Ghana) Ltd in 2014, and has led the development of the project from conception to date. The company is in partnership with the Electricity Company of Ghana for the development of a 20MW ON-GRID Solar Farm.
He was part of the team that consulted for the Government of Guinea Conakry for the setting up of their National Carrier, Guinea Shipping Corporation between 2018 and 2019. He has also led various training and exchange programmes for private and public institutions both in Nigeria and Ghana.
Deji is on the Board of Derot Projects and Investments Limited, Nigeria; Ada Solar Energy Ghana Limited, Ghana, and myCompany365 Limited, Ghana. He currently undertakes Research and Business Development studies and consultancy for Business Finland, the business arm of the Embassy of Finland both in Nigeria and Ghana. He has helped Finnish companies to evaluate and understand business opportunities in both countries which have contributed to increased FDI for Finnish offerings.
He also currently serves as the Special Adviser to the Federal Commissioner, Public Complaints Commission in Oyo State. Deji is driven by a desire to leave a footprint of business success in the West African sub-region as well as a legacy of public and social service.
