Aiyedatiwa and his vindictive theory in the race to Alagbaka, by Sola Olatunji

Those familiar with this theory will understand exactly what is going on in the politics of Ondo State after the demise of Aketi.
Let me refresh:

1. It’s crystal clear that characters like Dr Segun Mimiko, Aregbesola, reverred Babas, and those who went to bed with PDP in Osun State just to sabotage APC chances are gathering to stage a political coup against APC in Ondo State. They are trying to gain political relevance once again through the back door. They are called the political conspirators. Or the great betrayers.
2. Some of these irritant traducers and traitors never liked Aketi and his government. The mockery in our governor’s name ‘AIYEDATIWA’ which literally means ,our common enemy is no more, we can feast and if we like dance on his grave because we now have unlimited latitude to rejoice over the death of our common enemy. This, to me, is sacrilegious and should not happen at all, but here we are, it’s staring us in the face everywhere and every day.

3.Some of these elements, who are mainly from Ondo central, are political conspirators. They are in bed with our governor so that he can commit a political blunder against his people by becoming a governor for 4 years only, against the popular wishes of 8 years which the people are clamouring for in Ondo South. But these political gluttons want the power to return quickly to Ondo central. This is the political theory of the conspirators, and they will be disgraced at the end.

4. That the Ondo State government left the corpse of a sitting governor in Germany and it took the benevolence heart of Babajide Sanwo Olu, the governor of Lagos State to bring his corpse to the country was an unpardonable blunder. I am sure no Ondo sons and daughters will be happy with this news forever.
5. Ondo South, where I come from parades array of stars as aspirants with intimidating credentials and proven capability to move the state to enviable level in this Ondo 2024. We need time to revive the economy, we need time to fix roads, we need time to recruit teachers, and we need time to activate our dead health centres. I know that all the aspirants from this zone stand with 8 years ,except the governor who is pursuing his narrow interest of 4 years.
   It will be idiotic on the part of Ondo South to sacrifice 8 years of purposeful development for 4 years. Those behind 4 years are political saboteurs and conspirators in politics.
6. The media space is awash with news of how the governor has been frittering dollars in millions before the members of the Ondo State House of Assembly and local government chairmen of APC to harvest more artificial endorsement. But Aiyedatiwa seems to forget that there are some things money can’t buy – one of such is honour or integrity. I am also convinced that money can’t buy the collective interest of the people of Ondo South.
