Morocco defender Noussair Mazraoui has praised his side’s resilience following their dramatic penalty shootout victory over the Netherlands at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Prompt News Online reports.

Mazraoui expressed delight after Morocco secured their place in the next round.
“A really tough game against a really tough opponent. One of the best opponents you can face in the world,” Mazraoui was quoted by FIFA.com.
“It’s a top 10 of the world, I think a contender to win eventually the World Cup. The way that we managed to win today is a huge acknowledgment for us as a national team, of course.”
