The leader of South-West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), Senator Dayo Adeyeye, has highlighted reasons why the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, should run for president in the 2023 general election, AMILOADED reports.
Sen Adeyeye stated this on Tuesday at a radio programme in Lagos on Tuesday.
According to him, “if the former governor of Lagos State decides to contest for the election, he has a tendency to win because of his political experience and connection.”
Adeyeye further noted that all Nigeria need now is balanced governance and not secession.
The leader of the group highly noted for the emergence of Asiwaju Tinubu for the 2023 presidential election, maintained that there were lot of grievances and agitations across Nigeria just as he added that the calls were bored out of hard times in the country.
He noted that Tinubu, having known the needs of Nigerians, would definitely lead the country right.
According to him, the APC chieftain is an elder state man who has raised many politicians who are currently making waves in Nigerian politics.
“Tinubu is a man to reckon with in Nigerian politics for he has the charisma to lead Nigeria and Nigerians right based on the scores of iconic achievements when he was governor of Lagos State for eight years,” Adeyeye said.
