As Nigeria awaits the 100,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine by the end of January, more Nigerians with deep pockets are making their way abroad to get vaccinated against coronavirus.

On New Year day, Ovation Magazine publisher, Dele Momodu released the picture of former vice president, Atiku Abubakar getting vaccinated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Former Vice President, The Wazirin Adamawa, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, receives Pfizer COVID-19 jab vaccination,” Momodu captioned the pictures on Twitter.

Atiku had in a New Year Day message expressed the belief that “the vaccine(s) would soon be available for vaccination in Nigeria.”

He added, “It is also hoped that very soon life would return to normal.”

Recently, the video of the wife of Anambra State governor, Ebelechi Obiano surfaced online where she was getting the Moderna coronavirus vaccine in the United States.

Obiano who was sitting in her car while a nurse administered the vaccine did not indicate which state in the US she got the vaccine.

Activist Aisha Yesufu, who retweeted the video said Nigerians are their enemies because they allow the elite to divide them.

The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 said that Nigeria it hopes to get 42 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to battle coronavirus in the country, Punch reported.
