“We Were Both Interested in the Same Girl” – Blaqbonez Reveals What Sparked Rift with Odumodu Black

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has broken his silence on his rift with fellow rapper Odumodu Blvck, revealing how a woman they were both interested in became the reason for their fallout.

Speaking about the situation in a recent interview, he recalled that he and Odumodu previously had a cordial relationship before they both met the woman sometime in 2023.

“Me and Odumodu Black used to be cool, we had cordial relationship then. Sometime in 2023, like June or July, we met a girl at the same place at the same time, we were both interested in the girl and both parties made moves to her.”

Blaqbonez said he subsequently had a non-exclusive relationship with the woman for about a year before she ended things, saying it was no longer heading in the direction she wanted.

He claimed that he later discovered she was dating Odumodu after running into her at a bar and asking about her relationship status. According to him, he promised her she would no longer hear from him after learning about the relationship.

“Days later I ran into her in a bar, and we talked, so I asked her who she was dating, that was when I found out it was Odumodu. I promised her she won’t hear from me again, and we moved on,” he added.

Blaqbonez alleged that the situation later escalated after Odumodu confronted him over the woman, accusing him of disturbing her. He said he explained that they had a past and he had already blocked her.

He also recounted a three-way call involving Odumodu and the woman, claiming she denied their past relationship and also their trip to Ghana.

The rapper alleged that the disagreement eventually led to constant harassment and attacks on social media from Odumodu Bluvk.
