Video: How Tinubu emerged as APC’s presidential candidate – El Rufai

Amidst accusations that some elements in Aso Rock are working behind the scenes to sabotage the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has revealed the processes and intrigue that led to the emergence of Tinubu as the party’s flag bearer.

Recall that Tinubu had in Abeokuta last week said that the fuel scarcity and the naira redesign were ploys by a cabal in Aso Rock to truncate his presidential ambition. His fears were validated some days later when El-Rufai said some people within President Buhari’s government who lost their primary elections are still bellyaching and working against Tinubu.

El-Rufai went further yesterday to shed more light on the issue while speaking on Journalists Hangout on TVC. Watch these video clips:
