  • A shaft
  • A bolt
  • A dart
  • A missile

                       EXHORTATION

1.       THE WICKED WILL ALWAYS FIRE ARROWS AT THE RIGHTEOUS

  • Psalm 11 v 2

“For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.”

  • The wicked are always at war against the righteous.
  • They always make ready their arrows to attack.
  • When the wicked arrow is fired against a person; three things may happen:
  • It may enter into the person for destruction
  • It may bounce off and backfire
  • It may miss the person/target and hit another person.
  • Every dark arrow fired at you, your work and family shall backfire in Jesus name.

2.       THE LORD DEFENDS THE RIGHTEOUS FROM EVIL ARROWS

  • Psalm 35 v1

“Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.”

  • Proverbs 11 v 8

“The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.”

  • Psalm 141 v 10

“Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.”

  • When the enemies dispatch their arrows, they don’t care about the number of casualties that suffer the attack.
  • God is the one who can deliver us and make the wicked to suffer the boomerang of their arrows.

  • May the security canopy of God on us be forever intact in Jesus name.

3.       GOD CAN SHOOT HIS OWN ARROWS TO DEFEND US

  • Psalm 64 v 7 – 8

v.7 “But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.”

v.8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

  • When we call on God for defence, he rises immediately
  • God can shoot at our enemies no matter their hiding places.
  • He will open His weaponry against them today in Jesus name.
  • Deut. 32 v 23  – “I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.”

4.       GOD HAS HIS ARMOURY TO DESTROY EVIL ARROWS

  • Jeremiah 50 v 25  

“The LORD hath opened his armoury, and hath brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.”

  • Our God is Jehovah, the man of war
  • He has never lost any battle and will not lose any one.
  • He has his armoury to destroy evil arrows and their archers.
  • May God arise for you today in Jesus name.

5.       GOD CAN SCATTER WITH HIS ARROWS

  • God has the power to scatter arrows.

When there is an arrow in someone that has not yet been removed, God in His mercy will appear to them in their dreams and show them that there is something in place that has to be addressed.

Brief Profile of Ademola Akinbola

Ademola AKINBOLA is an author, publisher, trainer, digital marketing strategist, and a brand development specialist with nearly three decades of experience in the areas of branding, communication, corporate reputation management, business development, organizational change management, and digital marketing.

He is the Founder and Head Steward at BrandStewards Limited, a brand and reputation management consultancy. He is also the Publisher of The Podium International Magazine, Ile-Oluji Times, and Who’s Who in Ile-Oluji.
