Dethroned Apetumodu of Ipetumodu in Osun State, Oba Joseph Oloyede, convicted in United States for fraud-related offences, has sued Governor Ademola Adeleke over plans to fill vacant stool.
Oloyede, second claimant in suit No. HIF/50/2026, in motion on notice before Osun State High Court sitting in Ile-Ife, alleged Adeleke did not formally notify him of any infraction before initiating replacement process.
He prayed court to restrain governor and his officials from filling Apetumodu stool pending determination of substantive suit.

Other claimants are Prince Oyewusi Adewusi, Prince Isaac Adewuni and Prince Abiodun Oyetoro, suing for themselves and on behalf of other members of Latimogun Royal Family of Aribile Ruling House, Ipetumodu.
