Two travellers have been killed in an accident along Ilesha/Akure expressway in Osun State.
It was gathered the accident occurred around 10 pm on Wednesday at Iwaraja junction, Erinmo.
The Nation learnt one commercial truck with registration number XP 817 EPE and a private Toyota Hiace bus with registration number DKA 597 BQ collided.
The spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Osun Command, Mrs. Agnes Ogungbemi, confirmed the incident.
She said two vehicles were involved in the accident.
“We suspected over-speeding as a possible cause of the accident.
“Six people were involved in the accident, two people died while three people were injured.
“The corpse of one of those that died was deposited in a morgue. The other dead victim is still trapped in the vehicle.”
