Donald Trump is pictured bloodied as he’s rushed off stage by Secret Service after a shooting at a rally in Pennsylvania. One audience member and the shooter are believed to have died. The incident is being investigated as an assassination attempt.
Witness explains the moment gunshots rang out
We’ve just been hearing on Sky News from an attendee at the Trump rally where the shooting took place, via our partner network NBC.
She explained that as the shots rang out, Secret Service agents rushed onto the stage, and shouted “clear right, clear left”.

“They said, ‘get him up’. So they lifted him up, and Trump said, ‘I’ve got to get my shoes on first.'”
The audience could not see that his shoes had come off, but they “must have come off when they dropped him down to the ground.
“And when he stood up, I see the red teardrop right here of blood [pointing to her right cheek]”.
“And when they turned him, I could see the blood from the top of the ear to the bottom. It wasn’t gushing, but it was covered.
“And then he put the first bump up – ‘stay strong’, and they walked him off.”
