A lecturer of the Covenant University, Canaanland, Ota in Ogun State has been crushed to death by a container-conveying truck on Friday morning.
According to an eyewitness account, the tragedy was reported to have struck in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Council area of the state early Friday, 26 March 2021 shortly after the young lecturer had dropped his children at school.
Identified as Engr Foluso Badejo who, until his death, was tutoring at the Department of Electrical Engineering, had just dropped his children in their school and then parked at Iyana-Iyesi bus-stop, waiting to pick some of his co-workers when the tragedy occurred. (Daily Independent)
