THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE HELP OF GOD

GOD IS THE AUTHOR OF HELP
Psalm 121 v 1 – 2 (NKJV)

v.1 “I will lift up my eyes to the hills, From whence comes my help?”

v.2 “My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”

The absolute custodian of Help is God.
The exclusive owner of Help is God.
The Paramount Dispenser of Help is God.
The Controller & Director of Help is God.
The one who ware houses Help is God.
The only one who is never TIRED OF HELPING is God.
The only one who can be TRUSTED to Help is God.
The only one who can help us again after we have messed up heavily is GOD.
The Universal distributor of Help is God
The generous donor of Help is God
The Regulator and Distributor of Help is God
The only one who can help in critical situation is God.
When you are at your wits end, no help from friends & families, the one who can help you out is God. Psalm 107 v 23 – 30.
HEAVENLY Help is different from EARTHLY help. Also BETTER, LASTING, ENDURING, DIGNIFYING than HUMAN HELP
GOD SENDS HELP TO YOU IN TIMES OF TROUBLE
Psalm 20 v 1 – 2
v.1“May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you”
v.2 “May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion;”
God sends help for your rescue in times of trouble.
Heavenly help is divine, lasting and enduring than human help
VAIN IS THE HELP OF MAN
Psalm 60 v 11
“Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.”
Human help can fail at anytime
God’s help does not fail.
Human help is not reliable. God’s help is reliable.
Human help is limited. God’s help is limitless
1 Cor. 2 v 5
“that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”
Stop putting your faith in the wisdom of men.
Put your faith in the power of God.

Hebrews 4 v 14 – 16
v.14 “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.”
v.15 “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”
v.16 “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
STOP SEEKING HELP FROM EGYPT. FOCUS ON GOD
Isaiah 31 v 1 & 3
v.1 “Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, And rely on horses,
Who trust in chariots because they are many, And in horsemen because they are very strong, But who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, Nor seek the Lord!”
v.3 “Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; And their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the Lord stretches out His hand,Both he who helps will fall, And he who is helped will fall down; They all will perish together.”
Seek God only for Help
Seeking for help outside God leads to disaster
God abhors seeking help where there is no help
Look unto God, keep your focus on Him, He will never fail you.
Isaiah 50 v 7
“For the Lord God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced;
Therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.”
As you set your face on God like a hard rock, He will help you, you wont be disgraced, you wont be ashamed in Jesus name.
GOD IS YOUR PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE
Psalm 46 v 1 – 2
v.1 “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”
v.2 “Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;”
God has the divine ability to bail you out of any trouble.
His presence will help you out in your unguarded hour
God supernaturally equip His children with Automatic Help mechanism in case of emergencies.
Be connected to Him always
GOD IS PLENTEOUS IN HELP
Isaiah 41 v 10 – 13
v.10 “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
v11 “Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish.”
v.12 “You shall seek them and not find them, Those who contended with you.
Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing.
v.13 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’
God is the dispenser of Help. Psalm 121
Help of God comes to those who refuse to quit or give up on God.
Help of God never comes late. It is right on time.
Hold on to God until help comes.
Help of God may not come until you come to the end of yourself.
Help of God does a task beyond your natural ability e.g. David was helped against Goliath.
When God sends help to you, no man can stop you.
Help of God ensures you are not stranded.
Help of God comes when people say let us see how far you can go.
Help of God rescues you from the school of failure and disappointment.
Help of God puts an end to your struggles and weaknesses.
Emergency Help of God comes at your critical period.
Help of God terminates endless delay and stagnation.
Help of God has no geographical barrier.
Help of God can locate you anywhere you are.
Help of God lays to rest your fear and anxiety.
Help of God singles you out for deliverance among the multitude, siblings and family.
Help of God upgrades your destiny which had been relegated.
Help of God changes your story for better.
Help of God brings you a complete turnaround.
Help of God puts the enemy to shame and shuts the enemy’s mouth.
Help of God removes garment of shame.
Help of God changes people opinion about you.
Help of God makes you celebrated where you have been rejected.
Help of God transforms you to a superman.
Help of God brings you your expected end.
Help of God makes you sing a new song.
GOD CAN RAISE DIVINE HELPERS FOR YOU
Romans 16 v 3
“Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus”
Esther 6 v 1
“That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.”
2 Cor. 1 v 24
“Not that we have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand.”
INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DESTINY HELPERS
1 Sam. 11 v 9
“And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabeshgilead, Tomorrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and shewed it to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad”.
Jeremiah 17 v 5
“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.”

1. ANNOUNCE WHAT YOU CARRY
Your destiny helpers are the agents of change/elevation/enlargement/promotion/New things/Transformation and Uncommon breakthrough.
Your destiny helpers could be physical or spiritual.
They can be far or near.
They could be people or things God has put in place for you.
Your divine helpers are not your God.
They are not your source, but God.
Your destiny helpers must not be worshipped.
Your destiny helpers must not take the place of God.
Your destiny helpers must be prayed for against attacks.
The devil will want to fight your destiny helpers.
Your destiny helpers must be appreciated with the love of God and with gifts.
Always see God in action through your destiny helpers.
Let your focus be on God and not your destiny helpers as God will not share His glory with anyone.
Note that help only comes from God through men and not from men.
Also, your destiny helpers will enjoy – the benefits of God in Psalm 41 v 1 – 2 “Blessed is he that considereth the poor, the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive, and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou will not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.”
Your destiny helpers are your helpers of Joy. 2 Cor. 1 v 24
FOUR TYPES OF DESTINY HELPERS YOU WILL NEED
DESTINY CONNECTORSThey don’t have direct solution to your problem.They can connect you to people who can help you out.In 2 Kings 5 v 3
“Then she said to her mistress, “If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would heal him of his leprosy.”
A young girl from Israel informed her mistress, Naaman’s wife of Prophet Elisha who can heal Naaman.That little girl is a destiny connector.A destiny connector may not be rich or prominent but the right person.Never look down on anyone in life.May you connect with your own destiny connectors in the journey of life in Jesus name.
MEN/WOMEN OF INFLUENCE
These are people with immense capacity.
They can recommend you, mention you, endorse you in places of favour.
They are very influential.
Gen. 41 v 9 – 14
v.9 “Then the chief butler spoke to Pharaoh, saying: “I remember my faults this day.”
v.10 “When Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, both me and the chief baker”
v.11 “we each had a dream in one night, he and I. Each of us dreamed according to the interpretation of his own dream.”
v.12 “Now there was a young Hebrew man with us there, a servant of the captain of the guard. And we told him, and he interpreted our dreams for us; to each man he interpreted according to his own dream.”
v.13 “And it came to pass, just as he interpreted for us, so it happened. He restored me to my office, and he hanged him.”
v.14 “Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh.”
The chief butler mentioned and recommended Joseph.
GIFTED PEOPLE
They don’t waste time or struggle when it is their turn to deliver duty or service.
Having gifted people around you reduces your marginal errors, mistakes and stress.
1 Chronicles 12 v 1 & 2
v.1 “Now these were the men who came to David at Ziklag while he was still a fugitive from Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men, helpers in the war”
v.2 “armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows with the bow. They were of Benjamin, Saul’s brethren.”
BURDEN BEARERS
They will love and care for you unconditionally.
They will weather storms with you.
They will help you achieve your goals in life.
They will go extra miles for you to ensure you are okay.
They are very altruistic; showing selfless concern for the well-being of others.
They are gifts from God.
1 Sam 18 v 3
“Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.”
SOME BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF DIVINE HELPERS
1 Kings 19 v 21 – Elijah was Elisha’s destiny helper
Acts 10 v 1 – 35 – Peter was Cornelius’ destiny helper
1 Kings 17 v 8 – 19 – Elijah was the widow of Zarephath’s destiny helper.
2 Sam 9 v 1 – end David was the destiny helper to Mephiboseth
Jeremiah 38 v 6 – Ebedmelech was the destiny helper to Jeremiah
Luke 10 v 30–36 – The good Samaritan was the destiny helper to the certain man wounded by the robbers.
God used Jonathan as a destiny helper to David – 1 Sam. 18 v 3
God used the CHIEF BUTLER to help Joseph – Gen. 41 v 9 – 1
FOR YOU TO BE CONNECTED TO YOUR DIVINE HELPERS
Ruth 2 v 15 & 16
v.15 “And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:”
v.16 “And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.”
You must pray unto God.
God must destroy any FAMILY ALTAR hindering your helpers from reaching you.
Demonic veil on you or your helpers must be removed. Isaiah 25 v 7.
There must be a divine attraction between you and your helpers.
Doors of Divine Helpers must open.
God must position you within the reach and influence of your helpers.
Occasions to meet must be created by God.
God must burden your divine helpers.
Those blocking you from contacting your divine helpers must be removed.
Barriers between you and your divine helpers must be removed.
WHY MUST YOU PRAY FOR YOUR DIVINE HELPERS
1 Thess. 5 v 25
“Brethren, pray for us.”
Some unpleasant things can happen to your divine helpers.
Your divine helpers can be attacked, I pray your divine helpers will not be attacked in Jesus name.
Your divine helpers can be manipulated in the dream so as not to help you, I pray your divine helpers will not be manipulated in Jesus name.
Your divine helpers can be prevented and hindered from showing up.
Your divine helpers can be maimed, killed, missed or misled.
Your divine helpers may suddenly hate you – dark powers may sponsor quarrel and hatred between you and your helper, I pray that the heavens will dry-up those powers in Jesus name.
Your divine helpers may be diverted to other places and you will be neglected.
Brethren, you need to pray for barriers to be removed between you and your helpers. It is important to know that your ordained helper can be someone close to you, could be your husband, cousins, brothers, etc.
CASES
1. You lack helpers.
2. Helpers cut off suddenly.
3. You suffer abuse in their hands
4. You want to be connected
5. You want your helpers to appear urgently
6. Your helpers promise and fail you.
