Nigeria has recorded an increase of 128 percent in its daily figure of new coronavirus-related recoveries, with 1,816 patients discharged across the country on Monday.

The agency confirmed the new recoveries in its update for February 15, 2021.

This is the highest number of single-day recoveries recorded within the past four weeks — the last time the country’s daily record exceeded 1,800 was on January 17, when 3,950 patients were discharged.
