Nigeria’s Super Falcons have unveiled a new jersey featuring 10 stars surrounding the team’s badge ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Each star symbolises one of the country’s continental triumphs, ESON Africa disclosed this in a post on its X handle on Thursday evening.

The nine-time African champions first wore the special kit during Thursday’s 2-1 international friendly victory over Tanzania’s Twiga Stars.

Each of the 10 stars represents one of Nigeria’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations titles, underlining the Super Falcons’ status as the competition’s most successful team.

Justin Madugu’s side will head to Morocco seeking to extend that record by winning an 11th continental crown.

The 2026 WAFCON gets underway on Saturday, with the Super Falcons opening the defence of their title against tournament debutants Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat on Tuesday.
