How can Sowore and his group reject the National Youth Conference? On what grounds? Who gave them the authority to reject it on behalf of Nigerian youths? The same Sowore that Nigerian youths rejected and publicly disgraced during the #EndSARS protests?
The United Nations defines youth as people between 15 and 24. Omoyele Sowore will be fifty-four years old in four months.
Sowore is not a youth, and his organisation is not a youth organisation. They are a bunch of members of the African Action Congress who allowed their loss in the 2023 Presidential elections to lead to a loss of their minds and sense of decorum.

It is high time Nigerians distinguished between a politician and an activist. A failed Presidential candidate is not an activist. He is a politician. A failed Presidential candidate’s campaign council members are not activists. They are politicians. Journalists who have lost their objectivity and promote failed Presidential candidates are no longer just journalists. They are politicians.
Let us call a spade a spade and not a garden implement!
The National Youth Conference is a good idea. Let the President and his administration hear from the youths. Real youths. Not fifty four year olds with potbellies and an eighties haircut.
The true representatives of the Nigerian youths are urged to embrace this opportunity to have their voices heard in government and make the changes they want to see in Nigeria. Participate in the National Youth Conference. Be the change you wish to see in Nigeria!
