The Senate on Tuesday passed the National Anthem Bill 2024 to revert to the old national anthem, “Nigeria, we hail thee”.

The bill, which speedily passed first and second readings, now awaits assent into law by President Bola Tinubu.

The House of Representatives had on Thursday passed the bill.

    I pray this is the beginning of the reversal of all the good foundations that the military misadventure truncated. Which will include the return to the regional or Zonal Governance.

    They must also pass the bill to adopt a better constitution which was put in place by the CONFAB
