Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has broken his silence on the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Writing on his social media on Saturday, Saraki revealed he had been working silently behind the scene to ensure the return of normalcy into the party.
PDP slipped into an unusual crisis months ago after the party’s primary election was held on May 29 in Abuja.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and his loyalists, who suspected foul play in the electoral process, had demanded the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, accusing him of plotting Wike’s defeat.
Ayu’s refusal to resign has, however, deepened the crisis as Wike and his group vowed to work against the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in the forthcoming election.
