Former Secretary to the Kano State Government, SSG Abdullahi Baffa Bichi has vowed to disclose incriminating details about Governor Abba Yusuf and his political mentor, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Bichi claimed to possess incriminating documents, voice recordings, and videos, which he plans to release “at the right time” in a way to embarrass Gov Yusuf.
This statement marked his first public address since being removed from office, along with five commissioners, by the governor in December 2024.

“I’m happy that I have finished my tenure in peace. As you know, this is not the best time to talk, but at the appropriate time we will expose them so that people will understand the kind of people they are,” he stated.
He further described them as untrustworthy, saying, “They are not trustworthy people. They’re very deceptive. They don’t know anything except treachery and betrayal. They are not people to be trusted.”
Speaking to his supporters on Thursday after returning from Saudi Arabia, Bichi assured them he would reveal the actions of his former political associates.
Bichi also revealed that he had compiled all the evidence in various forms, including written documents, audio, and video recordings. “We have documented everything from written to audio and video evidence.”
The stance of the sacked Bichi is one that is bound to resonate around the political bearings of Gov Yusuf.
