It was all pomp and pageantry on July 7, 2024 when the Rotary Club of Isolo (Rotary International District 9111) installed Rotarian (Princess)Tokunboh Allison as its 44th President, thus confering on her the honour of being the first female president of the club within the district.

“My irresistible leaders and magical Rotarians, I am humbled and honored to step into this new role as the President of our esteemed club, Rotary Club of Isolo (The Heartbeat of Rotary). I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the trust and confidence you all have placed in me to lead our great club.
I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the outstanding work of my predecessor, IPP Abimbola Oseni, and those before her whose dedication and leadership have guided us throughout the years with grace and wisdom. I am committed to building upon it to further advance our mission of service above self.
I am excited about opportunities that lie ahead for us to make an even greater impact, I am confident that we can continue to serve our community with passion, integrity, and dedication. I therefore pledge to lead with transparency, inclusivity, and a spirit of cooperation. Brief Profile of Rot. Tokunboh Allison
Tokunboh “Toks” Allison, the youngest daughter in her family, was born on March 22nd to the late Chief Engineer Alhaji Allison and Alhaja Allison. Her educational journey began at Honeycomb Nursery and Primary School, Fola Agoro, Lagos. She continued her primary education at Mayflower School in Ikenne and Command Children’s School in Ann’s Barracks, Yaba. For secondary education, she attended Federal Government Girls’ College, Oyo, where she obtained her Secondary School Certificate.

She pursued higher education at the prestigious University of Lagos, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with honors in Business Administration. Her professional career commenced at Fly Phones, an Indian mobile phone company, from where she transitioned to Sigma Pensions. Tokunboh then worked as an independent presenter on Owuro Lawa at LTV 8 and subsequently at Oodua TV as a fashion and style presenter.
An accomplished entrepreneur, Tokunboh ventured into the fashion industry in 2004 and has since served as the Chief Creative Officer at Owoara Finesse Couture. She also engages in real estate, operates a winery, and is a government-registered contractor. Tokunboh’s philanthropic nature is evident through her deep involvement in humanitarian services, earning her numerous local and international awards for her efforts.
