Peter Obi Has Clearly Messed Up & Squandered Away His Goodwill – Shettima

Vice President Kashim Shettima has criticised former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, declaring that he has squandered the goodwill he once enjoyed among Nigerians.

Shettima made the remarks on Friday, November 6, 2026, while addressing supporters at an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Speaking about Obi’s recent return to the country, the Vice President said:

“I hear my friend Peter obi is back in the country after sneaking out to have a rest. He might have avoided Lagos and Abuja on arrival but clearly this gentle man has ran himself out press either way his lies and bogus statistics”

He further stated that Obi had lost the goodwill he previously enjoyed, adding that his public statements no longer inspire excitement but instead raise suspicions.

“Peter obi has clearly messed up and squandered away his goodwill. He no longer excites when he speaks these days, he only draws suspicion, too bad for him,” Shettima said.
