The historic city of Ile-Oluji, headquarters of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, hosted dignitaries from all walks of life on Thursday, December 9, and Friday, December 10, when Pastor Wole Oladiyun, Senior Pastor of the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM) buried his mother-in-law, Madam Mojibola Olubakinde.
The colourful funeral rites commenced on Thursday when the Christian wake service was held. It was conducted by the Reverend Olumide Akindoyeni, the Dean of the Cathedral of St Peter, Ile-Oluji. The service was attended by The Rt. Reverend Seye Fagbamiye, former Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of the Trinity (ADOTT), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, Rt. Rev Abel Oluyemi Ajibodu, Bishop of Ile-Oluji Diocese (Anglican Communion), Rev. Oluwamuyemi Fagbamiye, Baba Ijo of St Peter’s Cathedral, and other ministers.
The Jegun Olu-Ekun and Paramount Ruler of Ile-Oluji Kingdom, Oba (Dr) Oluwole Olufaderin Adetimehin, was represented by Olori (Dr) Adetokunbo Adetimehin. High Chief Kehinde Akinfemiwa, the Jomu of Ile-Oluji Kingdom, and Mr. Wale Akinterinwa, Ondo State Commissioner for Finance, were also sighted.

From Lagos came Apostle Dele Johnson, General Overseer of Jesus Liberation Ministries, Pastor Ezekiel Adeleke Atayero, founder of The Cross Christian Centre Ojodu Berger, Lagos. The night of tributes was glorious as the children of Mama Olubakinde, family members, and friends extolled her virtues and reminisced on how she impacted lives.
The burial service at the Cathedral of St Peter was another occasion for the sterling qualities of Mama Olubakinde to be proclaimed.
