The auditorium, which is expected to host CLAM’s Youth Ambassadors, is the first phase of the construction project.
Other facilities planned for the property, whose commercial value is estimated at N3b, include a new worship auditorium for CLAM Prayer Centre, Lekki, crèche, children’s playground, spa, eye centre, and a modern car park.
Pastor Wole Oladiyun, the Senior Pastor of CLAM, narrated the story of how CLAM acquired the property, attributing it to the “strange favour of God which cannot be explained”.
Said he: “We thank God for what He has done for CLAM. It could only have been God. This is a 10, 000 square meters property in the heart of Lekki which we got by the special grace of God”.
Quoting Luke 2:52 (And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man), Pastor Oladiyun disclosed that CLAM found favour before God and also before relevant government officials, leading to the acquisition of the choice property. He added that the wisdom of God which he applied in the management of CLAM’s assets also played a significant role.

“As the set man of this Ministry, I am not buying Gucci shoes or living any ostentatious lifestyle. I don’t have a private jet and I don’t buy new cars every year. Rather, I am buying the future for the congregation and putting CLAM on a stronger and higher pedestal. CLAM has never borrowed one naira from any bank. Thank God for me for financial literacy, astute management of resources, and a shrewd approach to managing our assets. The result is what we are seeing here today”, he added.

This also extends to other projects such as Soteria Maternity and Hospital, Soteria Farms, and the CLAM Prayer Arena, all of which were designed to benefit the congregation.

Pastor Oladiyun commended Pastor Tunde Kolade, the Centre Pastor of CLAM Prayer Centre, Lekki for successfully managing the Centre, and for his role in spotting the opportunity of the Lekki property. “Help me thank God for making the right choice in appointing him the Centre Pastor. I salute his humility, doggedness, selflessness, wisdom, and high level of loyalty. Also, please help me to thank God for the gift of good men and women serving in various capacities in this Ministry.”
