Passenger Recounts Ordeal after Enugu Air Aircraft Crash-landed in Benin

A passenger aboard the Enugu Air aircraft involved in Thursday’s crash-landing at the Benin Airport has shared his account of the incident, describing it as the most frightening experience of his life.

In a video circulating on social media, the man claimed the aircraft encountered heavy rainfall as it approached Benin, with poor visibility making the landing difficult.

According to him, the pilot made several attempts to land before the aircraft crash-landed and veered off the runway into nearby vegetation.

He claimed some passengers sustained injuries during the incident but said he escaped without any physical injuries.

His account has not been independently verified. Aviation authorities have since launched an investigation into the incident.

“I survived plane crash today. So na so I for take kpai. So na so all these big dreams for take go. I dey see plane crash for movies and social media video until I experience am today.

We dey up, serious rain dey fall. As I look in the mirror, all the mirrors done blur. I no even dey see outside. I come dey ask myself how pilot take dey see. Na when e reach time to land when we don reach our destination, pilot come dey find way to take land. Pilot no see road, the window blur. Pilot come dey rotate for air dey find way. Na so e come lose control come take bush. Guy people just dey break head dey break leg guyyyy. The reason our plane no catch fire na because serious rain dey fall. Na so I for take kpai. But I Comot with no injuries or body pain……”
