Osimhen Celebrates Daughter’s Birth with Goal for Galatasaray but Suffers Injury Scare

Victor Osimhen marked a special moment in his personal life by scoring for Galatasaray following the birth of his daughter, but his performance in the 4-0 rout of Konyaspor was overshadowed by an injury scare.

Galatasaray’s other scorers at the Medaş Konya Büyükşehir Stadyumu were Yunus Akgün, Aleksey Batrakov and Rafael Leão.

Osimhen opened the scoring in the 12th minute, rising to meet Gabriel Sara’s free kick with a powerful header to give Galatasaray an early lead. 

He forced Konyaspor goalkeeper Deniz Ertaş into a fine save with a fierce effort shortly before half-time.

Osimhen came close again after the restart, but his header from a corner was brilliantly stopped by the home team’s goalkeeper. 

He was replaced by Deniz Gül in the 61st minute as Galatasaray cruised to a commanding 4-0 victory.

The striker felt discomfort during the first half and received treatment before continuing. 

However, concerns grew after he was seen limping while greeting supporters following the final whistle.

Galatasaray have not yet provided an update on the condition of Osimhen, who netted his tenth goal of the season in all competitions in the win against Konyaspor.
