One of the frontline aspirants in the Ondo State governorship election, Mr. Wale Akinterinwa, has promised to run an inclusive government that will ensure the even development of all the local governments in the state.
Mr Akinterinwa, gave this assurance during the formal commencement of his campaign in Igbara Oke, the headquarters of Ifedore Local Government of the state, on Tuesday. The Igbara Oke campaign was the first of his planned visit to all the 18 Local Governments of the state to sell his agenda to APC members ahead of the primary election on April 20, 2024.

Seeing the mammoth crowd that welcomed him to Igbara Oke, Mr. Akinterinwa reiterated his commitment to implementing policies that will empower youths and women, while also frontally tackling the unemployment situation in the state.
He assured market women, traders, and artisans of the unflinching moral and financial support of his administration if elected into office.
Mr Akinterinwa remains the longest-serving Commissioner for Finance in Ondo State, having served in the Mimiko and Akeredolu Administrations for a cumulative period of nearly eight years.
He is being acknowledged as the man to beat in the April 20 APC primary election as a result of his pedigree, administrative experience, governance exposure, knowledge of Ondo State, and dexterity in financial and economic management.
