Silence seized the courtroom as she began to speak. She wanted her one week old marriage dissolved! Newly wedded and deeply worried, Aisha Dannupuwa spoke with conviction and determination as she testified before a Sharia court in Samaru, Gusau, Zamfara state, urging the court to dissolve her marriage to her husband due to terrifying sexual experiences.
Aisha Dannupuwa, a mother of three, told the court that she decided to marry another man after she parted ways with her former husband on account of irreconcilable differences.
To consummate her new love, according to her, tradition demanded, she moved into his parents’ house before finally relocating to her new matrimonial home. And the man visited her first in her parent’s house.
“When he came, we had sex but the experience was a nightmare. Instead of pleasure of sex, what I had was pain because his penis was too big,” she told the court.
The embattled woman said she suffered excruciating pains in her private part as a result of which she resorted to herbal medications prepared by her mother. Though her mother reassured her that she would get used to the jumbo size dick, Aisha is not ready to take chances. Especially after a repeat of the traumatic sexual encounter.
According to her “Two days later when he came to visit me, we had sex again” but the experience was the same: horrendous. At this point, she concluded that the marriage would not work out well. “It was then I knew that I could not continue with the marriage because of the size of his penis.” she added
With a stable mien and philosophical calmness, the husband agreed to his wife’s pleas and pleaded for a speedy dissolution of the one-week-old marriage. For the duo, therefore, this appears to be the ultimate irreconcilable difference.
