Muyiwa Kayode to Speak on the VVIP Brand Capsule at Nigerian Brand Academy Webinar

Mr. Muyiwa Kayode, the Chief Executive Officer of USP Communications, is scheduled to facilitate a virtual knowledge sharing session on SME branding organised by the Nigerian Brand Academy (NBA), on August 9, 2026, at 8pm.

Kayode, a seasoned brand development practitioner, will speak on the “VVIP BRAND CAPSULE”, a brand building formula he developed especially for startups.

According to Mr Kayode, the VVIP BRAND CAPSULE lays out in simple terms the four pillars of brand success: VISION, VALUE PROPOSITION, IDENTITY, and PROMOTION.

Founder of the Nigerian Brand Academy, Oloye Ademola Akinbola, said the NBA was established in 2024 to serve as a veritable personal and professional development platform for career professionals and entrepreneurs.

According to him, the NBA is a free online learning and knowledge sharing platform with online webinars being held twice a month via Zoom.

A multi-talented creative entrepreneur, Mr Kayode graduated from the University of Lagos, with a Bachelor’s degree in English and worked with The Guardian Newspaper.
He was a writer and cartoonist for The Guardian Newspapers between 1999 and 2004.

He switched to marketing communications in when he joined SO & U Saatchi & Saatchi as a copywriter. He moved to Prima Garnet Ogilvy, at inception in 1992 to set up the Agency’s Copy and Radio/TV Department.

In 1998, he teamed up with two partners to establish USP Communications Limited, which evolved into Nigeria’s Premier Brand Management Consultancy, five years later. With USP, Muyiwa led some of the most transformational branding projects in Corporate Nigeria, with institutions which included Bank of Industry, AIICO Insurance, Zinox Technologies, Intercontinental Bank, Unity Bank and Prudent Bank.
