Mohamed Salah Told He Won't Get The Contract He Deserves Because He's African

Mohamed Salah won’t get the contract he deserves because he’s African, sensationally claims El Hadji Diouf.

Salah has been embroiled in a contract stand-off with Liverpool, with his current deal due to expire in the summer of 2023.

And former Liverpool forward Diouf has warned the 29-year-old superstar that he will never get the terms he deserves because he’s African.

He’s also urged the Egyptian forward to stay at the club amid reported interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona, insisting he can earn more money and win more trophies at Liverpool.

“It is obvious that Liverpool must accept Salah’s demands,” he told beIN SPORTS.

“If I were Salah, I would stay at Liverpool, he can earn more money, he is the best player at the club along with [Sadio] Mane, and with him together they will win a lot of trophies.

“He is 29 years old and I ask him to play four more years with the Reds.

“A transfer to Real Madrid would mean that he would have to start all over again.”

The Reds are actively seeking to tie Salah down to a new contract, but wage demands appear to be a stumbling block.

It’s believed that he wants £400,000-a-week, with Diouf claiming Salah will be viewed differently because of his background.
