Men like to discuss sex. After sports for most men, the discussion is sex . Now when you grow older, the discussion is bills and kids. Do men discuss their wives? Well they discuss marriage and experiences.

But men will not discuss sexual impotence with their wives. It’s a very difficult conversation for men. You know men like to think they are studs and experts. They live in a delusion of being Jeremy Steele or some other. So when the “titanic” starts to sink, they pretend. The lack of that discussion has led fo many failed marriages or failing marriage.

Most men peak in their mid 40s. A woman is just getting to that place. At that age some men are on medication for blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and co. The medications have side effects. Erectile dysfunction is high on the side effect. Tigers now become kittens.

There are many good drugs to manage that. Good doctors can reduce dosage. Aside medication, a man and woman can get tired. It’s no longer exciting. Or financial pressure or resentment or it becomes too infrequent to have appeal.

Then intimacy is lost. The marriage needs a spark. Or the marriage becomes one of convenience. You can’t separate because the cost is too high. Then side adventures start in some cases or devotion to religion. Or expression through work.

Men are weak emotionally. Women can persevere much longer than men in such things.

Marriage was designed for both physical intimacy and emotional connection. Speak about sex. Tell your partner if it is becoming boring. Discuss what you are dealing with if there is something. Be kind on yourself if you are getting older. Sex is not an Olympic sports.

And this wife in the abroad thing is not for all. Or for most. There is a cost to every decision… think am well!
