Lead City University proudly celebrates its alumna, Damilola Yewande Osikoya, Class of 2011, on her remarkable achievement in Nigeria’s creative industry. Damilola, who graduated with a BSc Economics from Lead City University, was the Event Production Producer for the record-breaking screening of the Nollywood crime thriller, Black Market, at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, on 26 September 2026.
The screening recorded 51,258 verified attendees, earning a Guinness World Records title for the largest attendance at a single-location film screening, surpassing the previous record of 43,624. Working through Switch Visuals Production, Damilola played a key role in the large-scale planning, coordination and execution that made the historic event possible.
Her journey reflects a remarkable blend of education, entrepreneurship and professional excellence. With over a decade of experience spanning operations, travel, marketing and business management, she has built ventures including Voyage Quest Travels and Switch Visuals Production, extending her impact from the corporate and travel sectors into filmmaking and entertainment.

This milestone was also recognised by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who congratulated Damilola and her creative partner Nora Awolowo, commending their creativity, enterprise and contribution to Nigeria’s growing creative economy.
