Representation at all levels of governance is a major and integrated part of any society which when properly done, has many multifaceted impact on the peopleThis is the case with Honourable Isiaka Kazeem Alalukimba, the ward councillor representing Agunbiade in the Itire/Ikate LCDA and also the Majority Leader of the legislators of the councilSince his inauguration as the ward’s councillor, he had focused on his empowerment programme to the people of his ward, with various project such as back to school for primary pupils, upgrading of sports facilities in schools within the ward, class rooms rehabilitation with desks and chairs including construction just to mention fewRecently, during his 3rd edition of Welcome back to school project held at the Animasahun Nursery & Primary premises, which coincidentally was the school he attended, Hon Isiaka Kazeem Alalukimba distributed 150 units school uniforms , 100 school sandals, 40 school bags, 500 excerise books to pupils of the ward. Also not left out are the state’s official such as Lagos State Waste Management Agency personell who got 15 uniforms, Polcce officer with 3 uniforms, Lagos State Neighbourhood Corps officers got sports uniform, Lagos State Traffic Managemet Agency officers got 4 uniforms Sports facilities such as table tennis, footballs, basket ball court, football post an trophies was given to schools to encourage sports among the youth. Not left out are the transport union and others which he also gave uniforms to ensure all the relevant stakeholders in the ward are taken care offSpeaking to the media after the ceremony, Honourable Isiaka Kazeem Alalukimba explained that he was a beneficiary of free education in Lagos state while growing up and he has always priotise education especially at both primary and secondary levels as the base for any society to progress, hence his involvement and initiative of the Welcome Back To School project which is the 3rd edition this year. According to him “my motivation, I was once a student, and not all parents have the capacity of getting school uniforms, sandals and books for their kids and the government cannot it alone, my future plan I pray is to do more for his people.He listed the following projects as project he lobbied for the ward such as drainage and road construction such as Eyiowuwawi, Adewuyi, Adedoyin, Obashola Ajijola, Aguntasolo streets just to mention few. He expresses his appreciation to the people of his ward and leadership, the council chairman and his colleagues for all the support to make things happen
