“I’m A Full Package, but My Confidence Scares Men” – Phyna Opens Up on Dating Struggles

Reality TV star Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has shared her thoughts on why she believes some Nigerian men avoid confident women like her.

In a viral video circulating on social media, she claimed many men are often intimidated by her because she’s outspoken, bold, and aware of her worth, instead preferring those they can easily control.

“I’m a whole 100, I’m a 10 over 10. The thing is just that Nigerian men are scared of women that are bold, confident women,” she said.

She further stressed that some men prefer to date women who will always agree with them and avoid challenging their opinions or decisions.

The former BBNaija winner added that women like her are often judged even before people get to know them, simply because of how confident and expressive they appear.

“Our men basically like women that they can sit on their head, women that when they say this or that, she will go with it. They don’t want any woman that has a say,” she added.

Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions online.
