Rot. Ifeyinwa Rita Ejezie, an indigene of Ihiala in Anambra State, is indeed the archetypal definition of a versatile and prolific leader. She was a member of the committee of the Nigerian Stock Exchange that set up the Automated Trading System (ATS) that ended the era of the voice-over system for trading on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Her Rotary Trajectory
Rot. Ejezie’s Rotary “career” started as a Rotaractor during her undergraduate days before joining Rotary in 2006 as a member of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro.
She has served the club in various capacities such as Rotary Foundation Chair; Club Trainer, Service Projects Chair, Investiture Committee Chair, Club Treasurer, and Membership Chair. She was the Club President from 2011-2012 and emerged as the Champion President, leading her club to win the Overall Best Club in District 9110 and the Overall Best Donor/Contributor to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
She has served District 9110 in various high-ranking capacities as Vice-Captain to Zonal Coordinators, 2020-2021, and chairman of District Conference, 2019-2020; She organised the first ever, very successful, Virtual District Conference for District 9110. She served as an aide to Past RI Director and Trustee to the Rotary Foundation, Rotarian Julia Phelps – at the Rotary Institute Zone 20A (now 22 ) held in Lagos in 2018.
She was Chairman of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), 2018-2019; Assistant Governor, and Vice-Captain to Assistant Governors, 2015 – 2018 (3 years concurrently within which period she supervised over 12 Clubs).
