“I was Most Disappointed in Myself” – Davido Opens Up on Cheating on Wife, Chioma Adeleke Before Marriage

Afrobeats superstar Davido has opened up about a moment he regrets in his relationship with his wife, Chioma Adeleke, admitting he once cheated on her before they got married.

The singer revealed that the incident happened during a rough period in their relationship, describing it as a time when things were not stable between them.

“I was most disappointed in myself when I cheated on my wife when we had a little rift back then before we got married. I thought I could have done better because she’s an amazing person,” he said.

Davido acknowledged that the experience made him reflect deeply on his actions, noting that it was a turning point where he realized he had made a serious mistake.

He further explained that despite the situation, he has since made efforts to correct his mistakes and move forward in the relationship.

“I know that was the only time I knew I messed up, but I have fixed it and we’re married,” he admitted.

In a related revelation, the music star also recently shared how he met his wife during their university days, noting that she initially snubbed him before they later connected in Lagos.
