The Governor of Ondo State, Arákùnrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN has deemed me fit as Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation. I am very grateful and thankful for this opportunity.
This is an extraordinary time in the history of Nigeria and indeed Ondo state. We are facing unprecedented threat to life and property, there is escalating hunger amidst dwindling revenue. At this critical juncture, we need men and women of great empathy, integrity and moral courage to face the challenges.
You all have seen that Governor Akeredolu has great moral courage with which he has confronted negative externalities and a determination to rid our land of criminals and terrorists. He has an uncanny ability to call a spade, a spade. These attributes has given me the confidence to face the task ahead.
In this role, as a leader in your service, I will reassure, offer hope, I will seek to soothe the pain, and create common grounds of understanding where there is none. The task has begun.
