Music video director, TG Omori, has called for prayers following a failed kidney transplant, expressing that he doesn’t want to die.

The cinematographer revealed on Tuesday that his brother donated a kidney to help him battle a severe kidney-related ailment.

However, in a follow-up post on Wednesday, Omori disclosed that the transplant performed at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos was unsuccessful.

He wrote, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St Nicholas Hospital Lagos. Pray for me.”

Omori also shared that he underwent three separate procedures during the transplant attempt, posting a photo on his Instagram Story with the caption, “I don’t wanna die.”

In response to this news, several celebrities, including Kunle Afolayan, Femi Branch, and Deyemi Okanlawon, have offered their prayers and support.

Their prayers come after Tunde Ednut shared a post on Instagram featuring Omori, expressing his wishes for the director’s recovery.

Kunle Afolayan wrote, “May the Almighty God heal you and restore your body and soul completely.”

Deyemi Okanlawon added, “God heal you and your brother completely.”

Tunde Ednut also commented, “Wow! Get well soon, Director TG Omori.”

Skit maker Nasboi expressed his distress, saying, “My heart is so broken. God, please keep him.”
