Funke Akindele’s ‘The Four’ to Make History as First Nollywood Film to Premiere at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square

Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Olufunke Akindele, popularly known as Funke Akindele, has announced that her forthcoming movie, The Four: No One Fights Alone, will become the first Nollywood production to premiere at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London.

In a post shared via X on Monday, November 2, 2026, Akindele highlighted the significance of the venue, revealing that the cast of the movie would occupy the Royal Booth during the November 29 premiere.

She explained that the booth was where the King sat during the premiere of Gladiator, while Princess Catherine occupied seat 18 and the King sat in seat 19.

Describing the moment as historic, Akindele said the cast of The Four: No One Fights Alone would sit in the same seats for the London premiere.

She also described Odeon Luxe Leicester Square as the largest auditorium in London, underscoring the significance of the movie’s planned screening at the venue.

The film is scheduled to premiere in the United Kingdom on November 29, 2026, before its release in cinemas across Nigeria on December 11, 2026.
