A Nigerian lawyer and oil industry communication specialist. Adeyemi Fakayejo is dead. Platforms Africa reports.

Fakayejo, a prominent face, then, at the corporate communications and media relations department of ExxonMobil Nigeria, died, according to the family, on June 17, 33 days after his 60th birthday He was born on May 14, 1963.

A statement issued by the family, which was obtained by Platforms Africa, read: “Our beloved dad, Barr. Adeyemi Fakayejo sadly left us on June 17, 2023. There are no right words to express our sorrow, but we wish to share a moment of appreciation for a joyful life taken too soon.

He passed on peacefully, and any other contrary information being circulated regarding the cause of his death is false and malicious. Therefore, disregard and kindly report such accounts.”

The family is “taking some time to grieve this great loss. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this difficult time. May our dad rest in God’s perfect peace. Thank you,” the statement signed by “The Children of Barr. Adeyemi Fakayejo,” read.

Meanwhile, friends and acquaintances of the deceased have begun to extol his virtues.

Team Lead of Platforms, Adeola Yusuf, who in a statement, described Fakayejo as a “thoroughbred professional, a brilliant lawyer, a good and friendly man who never looked down on anyone” prayed for the repose of his soul.”
