A former player of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Justice Christopher, slumped and died in his hotel room in the early hours of Wednesday.

According to sources, the former international midfielder slumped in his hotel located in Gwolshe, off Tudunwada Ring road, Jos.

His close associates said that he had been battling high blood pressure for some time, but it was thought to be mild.

Christopher was seen on Tuesday in the company of his friends full of life. and he never showed any sign of a serious health challenge.

Though the Plateau police command was yet to confirm the death, his body has been deposited at the Plateau Specialist Hospital.

A family source said an autopsy would be conducted at the hospital before he is buried.
