Celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest has recounted his first meeting with Afrobeats star Davido, describing the singer as genuinely warm and supportive even before they became close friends.
According to Cubana Chief Priest, they first met at the Intercontinental Hotel during a celebration he organised for his son after the child returned to Nigeria as a citizen of the United States.

He said Davido happened to be at the poolside during the event and joined in celebrating with him despite not knowing who he was at the time.
Cubana Chief Priest added that he had booked him to arrive at his club in Owerri during the meeting.
The businessman noted that the singer’s excitement and positive energy during the encounter left a lasting impression on him.
