Commissioner found dead in his bedroom

The Borno State Finance Commissioner, Ahmad Ali Ahmad is dead.

Ahmad was found dead in his bedroom on Monday morning.

The Borno State Government has also confirmed the death of the Finance Commissioner via a statement on Monday.

The statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Usman Tar, confirmed that Ahmad died on Monday morning.

According to the statement, “His burial is scheduled for 5 pm on Monday, August 26, 2024, at his family residence on Damboa Road, behind the Indimi residence in Maiduguri.”
