Chelsea medical chief Paco Biosca has departed the Blues as the club continues its mass exodus of staff under Todd Boehly, according to reports.
Since the arrival of the American businessman at the end of May, there have been a number of changes across the board at Stamford Bridge.
Chairman Bruce Buck departed earlier in the summer, with director Marina Granovskaia also leaving her role at the Blues.
Chelsea legend and now former advisor Petr Cech was another name to leave, signalling a wide-scale change of personnel at the top of the club.
It was recently revealed that Director of Communications and Public Affairs Steve Atkins will leave after 14 years at Stamford Bridge, and he will now be joining McLaren Racing.
Even within the playing squad themselves, there were a number of changes, with Chelsea signing six new senior players for the team.
Timo Werner left after two years at the club to return to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and Romelu Lukaku has re-joined Inter Milan, this time on a loan deal.
However, one of the biggest decisions made by the new ownership was the sacking of Thomas Tuchel.
The German had been head coach at the club for 19 months but has now been replaced by Graham Potter, who was previously at Brighton and Hove Albion.
Changes are still set to come it seems, with another senior official departing the west London side.
According to The Telegraph, Biosca will be leaving Chelsea as a member of their medical staff.
The 69-year-old joined the club back in 2011 and has therefore overseen huge success on the pitch during that time.
However, he is now on his way out of the club, with Dimitrios Kalogiannidis set to take charge of the club’s medical department on an interim basis until they find a new permanent appointment.
Chelsea’s new owners have been at the helm of the club for nearly four months, but such changes are a signal of a new era at Stamford Bridge.
Potter is now the man who is being trusted to lead the side following the departure of Tuchel.
The Blues have had a poor start to the season though, having won just three games from a possible eight across all competitions.
They currently sit seventh in the Premier League table after six matches and are bottom of Group E in the Champions League having picked up just one point.
Chelsea’s next game will come against Crystal Palace away from home, with the fixture set to be Potter’s second game in charge of his new side.
