Buhari extends tenure of DG NISER

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the extension of tenure of office for the Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER), Gbadebo Smith.

The extension is in accordance with the extant provisions of the latest edition (2019) of the conditions of service for Federal Research Development Agencies, Institutes and Colleges for completion of one single term of five years.

In a statement by the Director of Information at the Budget and National Planning Ministry, Mr Hassan Dodo, on Sunday, the Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba has wished the DG a successful tenure extension which takes effect from 31st May, 2021.
