President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today approved the appointment of Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Yusuf Buba Yakub as Director/ CEO of the Directorate of Technical Aid Corps(DTAC).
In a release signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media, Ajuri Ngelale, the appointment is with immediate effect.
Ngelale informed that Rt. Hon. Buba, the immediate-past Chairman, House Committee on Foreign Affairs, replaces Prof. Pius Osunyikanmi whose tenure at the Agency expired recently.

Rt. Hon. Buba is expected to bring to bear on the mandate of the Agency many years of public and private-sector experience and personal industry.
The Directorate of Technical Aid Corps is an Agency of the Federal Government under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Part of the mandate of the Agency is to advance the big-brother role of Nigeria in the area of providing technical assistance to many African countries, those of the Caribbean and the Pacific Regions and fostering co-operation among the countries and Nigeria since the establishment of the Directorate in 1987.
