The Supreme Court today ruled that Abba Kabir Yussuf of the NNPP is the duly-elected governor of Kano State.
The Court averred that the Appeal Court and the Election tribunal erred by deducting from Yusuf’s votes.
Abba Kabir Yusuf has served as governor of Kano State since May 2023. He served as commissioner of Works, Housing and Transport when Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso was re-elected for a second term in the executive council of Kano State from 2011 to 2015.
