In terms of sightseeing, holidays and vacations. Most Nigerians believe there are few places to visit and have a serene time with family, partners, and loved ones. Well, today we are here to rebuff the myth, and this time around we are doing it with unpopular destinations. Trust me, you want to visit these places when you are on that trip to any of these states.

A lot of us know places like Ikogusi Hot and Cold Spring, Obudu Cattle Ranch, but we would like to show you places you might not have even heard of and first on that list is:

The Beautiful River Ethiope: Located in Abraka, Delta state which is less than 2hrs drive from the capital city of Asaba, the journey allows you to see and experience nature and the beautiful city and unlike most water bodies in Nigeria, River Ethiope offers you clear, blue water (you could literally see the river bed) similar to what you get in the Maldives and with a serene and quiet environment, where you can enjoy jolly boat-rides and Canoe rides. The river is swimmable and is truly a gem.
