The dreaded group of Bandits launched an attack at the military headquarters in Jaji, Kaduna State early Saturday morning.
The attack was reported to have resulted in injures and/or deaths on the part of the bandits. The numbers of soldiers injured and/or gun down are not readily available. It is uncertain if any soldier sustained injury.
It was gathered that the military personnel easily repelled the attack. Our source indicates that the said bandits scaled the fenced premises of the military base.
The attack at the military station came following brazen kidnap incident that took place on Friday along Kaduna Abuja expressway in broad daylight – 300meters away from the Jaji military base.
The bandits were said to have engaged in kidnappings along the road and had successfully abducted dozens of persons along the road.
It also took the military intervention to expel the kidnappers.
